Cabins

Vestby Hyttepark opened the summer 2003. You will find Vestby Hyttepark in rural surroundings in Vestby county, Akershus.

Vestby Hyttepark have night-stop offer to families on holiday that want to stay fore one night or more. We have offers to companies as well. We can offer new cottages, they are brand new and the size is 50 kvm. The cottages have a tremendous high standard. We have all year cottages and open all year.

Inside the cottage you have a living room with kitchen corner with all you need for cooking. You also have two bedrooms, one bedroom with two beds, and one with four beds. There are also flagged bathrooms with toilet and shower. All the cottages have also an outward booth. At the farm we also have a two-storied log house from 1700, that we restored during the spring 2003. The house is fit up with “old” furniture and colours. This house also has a kitchen, a living room, to bedrooms (total four beds) and bath room.

At Vestby Hyttepark we also have apartments with high standard; they have one or two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom. We have many apartments and the number of beds is variable. (From 2 – 6 persons).

We have activities with the animals riding for children and being with the bunnies, polecats, cats and the farm dog. We also have plenty of space out side to play football, badminton, croquet and much more.

Vestby Hyttepark is close to the highway E6, so if you want to have an active holiday outside Vestby Hyttepark, you can for example go visit these places:
• It is a 12 Minutes to drive to “Tusenfryd” amusement park.
• It is a 30 minutes to drive to Oslo (we can help you to find the time table for the train if you don’t like to drive the car in the centre of Oslo). It takes 5 minutes to drive to the train station.
• It is a 10 minutes drive to Drøbak. In Drøbak you find the “nissehus” a shop with Santa clauses in all sizes and types and also the Santa postoffice.
• “Oscarsborgfestning” (At this fortress did the Norwegians get the chance to sink the German flagship Blucher 9.April 1940) in Drøbaksundet.
• You will also find an aquarium in Drøbak. The aquarium has 1000 different species that lives in the Oslo fjord.

If you like to ride a bicycle, is it not far to one of the many beaches in Vestby. We can also provide you with a map over the different bicycle routes.

If you want to stay for a long time you will find the food stores within 5 minutes by car from us. In Vestby centre you also have bank and a post-office. Close to Vestby Hyttepark you have to big shopping centres if you would like to go shopping. Our nearest neighbours are the restaurants “by the way” and “Mc Donald’s” you will also find the gas station here.
