Charming log house for rent

Would you like a beautiful place to stay without living close upon other tourists? The farm Lie is a place where you can enjoy both nature, the animals on the farm, and the silence from the nature itself. The children can play in the sand or with the animals (two goats, some rabbits and a cat with four kittens, all used to children). The lake Heivatn is only 5 km further up past Lie, and is excellent for fishing. You do not have to go far to experience a beautiful view, or you can just sit outside the cottage and enjoy the sunset. Welcome!

The cottage is about 50m², and is built in 1991 in the traditional Norwegian way. The cottage has five beds, one bedroom, a bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen and a large living room with wood-burning stove.

Kviteseid is a small municipality in West-Telemark, with beautiful and various nature, many hiking trails, and several excellent lakes where you can go fishing. Sondre Nordheim, “the father of modern skiing”, came from Morgedal in Kviteseid, and the beautiful Telemarks-kanalen passes through the whole municipality, and two times a day during the summer-season the Kanal-boats stops by the quay in Kviteseid Sentrum. In sentrum you can find nearly whatever you need, and you can sit down in the park, on the quay or in the local Cafè. Kviteseid is about 200 km from Oslo, 50 km from Bø Sommerland and 15 km from Seljord.
