The hotel was orginally a wayside hostelry which as long ago as 1889 provided shelter for travellers crossing the mountains. Since 1979 the hotel has been extended on 3 occassions in order to meet the demands of medern-day tourists. These alterations have, however, in no way changed the well-known style and atmosphere so characteristic of Pollfoss.
17 rooms in a tranquille surrounding and many posibility's nearby, from beautfull roundtrips, kayacking, hiking and skieing nearby, from october until may.
